Re: Any tips for removing O2 sensor?
Assuming you have a six point version of the oxygen sensor removal tool, several days of liberal application of penetrating fluid, apply some heat to the manifold using a propane torch, say a quick prayer, and give one quick, firm twist of the socket. If it doesn't come out, or, strips further, you may be removing the exhaust manifold. Changing the ox sensors at the 30,000 mile interval is the best way to avoid this problem in the future. The same goes for spark plugs. You don't state what model car you have, I'm assuming the sensor is in the exhaust manifold. Good luck!
