Bose in the A6

I have just order an A6Q with the Bose system. I also have an Soundstream amp with 4 sets of ADS speakers that I have taken off my to-be-trade-in A4. Can I intergrate them into the Bose system?

Doubt it more.......

Check out their website and read what they do for the cars. The custom tailor the frequency response of the speakers to match a specific car. This involves expensive equipment and measurements taken at different spots in the vehicle. I believe the speakers are powered and contain a custom equilizer. <p>From previous posts no one has been satisfied with the sound unless the completly ripped out the Bose system. <p>98.5 30vQMS

From my past experiences with Bose systems I can tell you that each speaker is individually amplified and supposedly equalized. The speakers themselves are usually of an odd impedence, such as 2 ohms. If the Bose radio has the line-level outputs that the standard unit does you could simply connect the head unit to any signal processors that you may own and then to your amp. I know that the A4 radio has these outputs, but i have never removed an A6 unit. If you plan to upgrade you system, save your money and just get the standard audio system. Why spend over a thousand bucks on equipment that will be tossed out of the car? Check the forum for info on the A6 radio.<br>
