Cats on their way out, Any experience with Non OEM High flow cats..
and if so who was your source...
Thanks for any help
Sam.
As for other cats, I think miktip bought slightly higher-flowing cats for his '93 90, but he had to weld on down pipes from the manifold and then after each cat to the pre-muffler fitting. I'm not sure if he really noticed any improvements, although, no one has ever asked him.
In addition, depending upon the year and mileage of your Audi, you may be able to get them covered under warranty or the recall (or lack thereof).
Good luck!<ul><li><a href="http://www.discountconverter.com/converters/audi/audi_direct_fit.cfm">http://www.discountconverter.com/converters/audi/audi_direct_fit.cfm</a</li></ul>
Check out this site and let me know what you think, I understand there will be cutting and welding involved but maybe it'll cost less than the cats that run 317 ea. If they'll fit!!

Do you have Muffler Man's in the Detroit metro area? They are all over the Holland-Grand Rapids area. If so you may want to get ahold of them...they actually did a decent job!
