Cats-UPDATE
NOTE: To take advantage of my emission warranty I had to have them diagnose that my cats were rattling...which they did!! They concured that both were rattling!!!
A few days later I got a "postcard" informing me that my drivers side cat was on backorder.
Fast forward to today...it's finally in!! Exactly 5 weeks after my initial "service" the part FINALLY came in.
I'm just writing to let anyone know that may be in need of a drivers side cat that there is a significant wait for it from the dealer!! IMHO, if you don't have the warranty I would go elsewhere!! The dealers prices are outrageous anyway (which we all already know)!!!
The good news is that next Thursday I get TWO new cats installed for FREE; covered by the 8yr/80k mile emission warranty. It's about time...I haven't driven** the car since I got it back from the Oct. 4 "service"!!!
(** I did get it out for two little trips this last weekend to make sure that it still ran....and it did but acceleration is WAY down!!)

Don Rosen wants $10.05 for the right (pass) and $17.20 for the left (driver's). I asked why the differece in price? and are they different part numbers. he said that he didn't know why. the story continues....
Holbert's says that the two gaskets are the same part and costs $6.70 each.
So what's the moral of the story: dealerships openly lie when necessary and are in the business for making the most money possible and don't care about customer service.
