Coolant change interval
I recently purchased a used 1993 Audi 90 Quattro and the dealer says, by their records, that none of the fluids have been changed other than oil (I had it in for an oil change which I do every 5,000 miles 'cause it is easy to remember).
I thought this was weird since the car comes with full service for 3 years, 50000 miles. So I checked the manual and sure enough it says "the cooling system is sealed and the coolant never needs to be changed" (not a direct quote--but you get the point).
Anyone out there dare to follow these instructions? Living in MN this is a scary thought.

Only change mine when hoses die.
As long as you use the factory coolant and only add distilled water there is no need to flush it. Of course, I haven't made it 30K miles without draining it for repairs. Change it with the water pump when you get the timing belt done at 60K and put factory coolant in.
