Engine vibrations on the peddles (normal??)
Could be any number of items causing the vibe's to transmit through to your pedals.
Has you car ever been in an accident?
Transmission mounts, and motor mounts are the usual suspects. Or loose suspension sub frame
bushings & bolts.
Unless it get's worse, I wouldnt worry too much about it. Being a 1993, you Audi has its fair share of normal wear & tear.
Accidents? I don't think so. My mechanic would have informed me of that kind of problem.
Anyway, The vibrations aren't bad enough to cause concern. I just thought it interesting, the ride got better when it got warmer outside. And like you said, it could be caused by a number of things. For all I know the vibrations I am feeling could be from the road. I had some KYB shocks and struts installed (man are they stiff, I feel every thing).
Do you know which aftermarket shock will give me my smooth ride back, so I won't feel every nook in the road?
Thank for the info. miktip
