Engine won't start
I just replaced the fuel line that runs from the fuel pump into the engine. I asked a few mechanics about it and they told me to keep crankin it up! I did that for an entire day. I'm getting fuel all the way up to the Fuel distributor(1987 5000s) But no fuel is coming out of the injectors. I'm assuming that my sensor valve isn't quite set properly. Any advice?

Try starter fluid.
Pull off some readily accessible hose, even the PCV, and give a solid 1 second blast of starter fluid. Stick it back together and try to start the engine with the throttle cracked. Go ahead and rev it up to 3K if it starts.
If it starts but won't idle then you have a vacuum leak or problems with the sensor plate. If it gives you no more problems then you just had air in the injector lines. Does it catch at all when you crank it now, maybe just after hitting the starter?<p>Todd W

Make sure that your rubber boot...
is not leaking vacuum. If its not clamped in perfect and tight, you'll have a HUGE vacuum leak and a non-starting car. Did you move it all when changing the fuel line?

Have exactly the same problem, no start, no fuel at the injectors.There is fuel at the connection of fuel distributor from fuel filter. Did you finally figured out what the problem was???
