Default group purchase

i know all of you love your passat's as much as i do, and you want to protect your baby like i do. i just talked to the owner of Invincashield. Invincashield is an invisible bra that is applied to the surfaces of your paint
that take those pebble and bug abuses( bumper, hood, fender caps, door pillars , mirrors). it keeps you from paying to repaint those area's every other year like i did with my maxima( those liitle knicks and scratches drove me crazy). anyway, i've checked into invincashield and stongard. stongrad is another company that uses the same 3m material, but there kits cost more because they give you alot of pieces to apply(many which are unnecessary). also, stongard is for a professional installer where as invincashield can be done by most do-it-yourselfers. i was planning on purchasing the invincashield deluxe kit for $350 when i had the idea to ask about a group purchase. Daniel was very excited about the exposure and product recognition that his company would recieve and agreed to a price of $195 if enough people sign on. this price not only includes the kit, but evrything needed for the install plus a videotape to show you how to do it. there is five year warranty and some other things i didn't write down. you can wash and wax your car like it's not even there. it can be removed when ever you like(why you would want to heaven only knows).
this is a great deal imho, and i'll be buying it at 350 or 195(195 which is only a little more than the price of a bra which you have to maintain and remove when wet). he will also make arrangements for those with the new bettle, jetta, golf or a4. if you want to join in or have questions drop me a email here or at ckyro@aol.com. i can't stand to see my baby hurt.

shane
99 1.8t gls, tip, leather, sunroof, soon to be chipped

Re this 3M adhesive plastic (which I assume this is what it is).
I checked wwith a local respected body shop on the application of the Stonguard product; he had major misgivings about being able to install it without getting bubbles/ripples in it and being able to et it straight - that is one major piece of "adhesive tape". I replaced the stone guards that are just in front of the rear wheel wells on my 993 recently; these are a large triangular piece of this similar 3M clear adhesive-back plastic. I had MAJOR fits getting it installed and lined up properly - stuff stretches somewhat as you install it, and keeping air/water bubbles out during installation is royal PITA. And, this piece was only about 18" on a side!
Good luck with any home isntallation of this stuff.

invincashield is different than stongard in that it is made for do-it-yourself installation. much easier to manage than stongard.
