GRRRinding Brakes!
Began as minor grinding upon depression and then began to grind loudly and continuosly, even without brake applied, in forward and reverse (problem is only in rear, passenger side). No evident loss of braking power. Quits at over 20mph--under that, it seems like I'm going to lose the entire rear-end. Well, it's obviously parked and will go in shop tomorrow. Any ideas on what we're looking at? (89 200TQ w/ABS--153k, purchased at 151k).

I agree...
it's probably the calipers...but just in case...
...I had this happen once to me and it turned out to be a bad wheel bearing...apparently it had caused the wheel to rotate off axis and grind aganist the brakes...so keep that in mind if the calipers turn out not to be the culprit...hth
