Could this be an electronic/sensor problem, or something like injectors?
could be a sensor problem, the O2 sensor may be faulty, check when cold vs when hot, you may also have a faulty temp sensor to the ecu and or to the idle control.

Check your fuel injector control fuse in the fuse box. Mine was blown and after I replaced it, voila....it started nice and healthy
Also, I was test driving it the other day, (after working on the auto trans.) and the oil warning lt. came on. Guess what? Blew the intake line for the engine oil cooler. ($ of synthetic oil, now dust control on the road!) So I tried to fix the line with some JB WELD, but the cooler itself took a leak. Those lines are double the price of the cooler, EACH! I bought just the cooler, and used hydraulic lines from a loader off on of my tractors instead-they're heat-resistant, durable and flexible, and NOT $219 ea.!
