There's no point to it.
There's a TT convertible, and a TT hardtop. It would be redundant. And yes, I know BMW and Porsche make removable hard tops for the Z3 and Boxster, but they come ragtop only. A retractable hardtop on a TT would be too expensive and too heavy. No-one would buy it.

Don't forget, Audi does make a removeable hardtops for the TTR.
I remember it being featured in one of the Audiworld front page articles a while back. I've never seen or heard of one installed yet.

Well.....I was sure I saw it on a past feature article on AW......
but I just looked and couldn't find it anywhere. Anyone back me up here? Am I imagining this or is there really a hardtop option for the TTR now?
