Help with alignment question??

Saturday I got my '89 200TQ aligned because I got new tires, the car was pulling to the left a bit and I made the tech aware of this before the hand, he said that the pull has little to do with the alignmet so I told him that I just wanted to make sure that the tires did not wear uneven, He did the job and the car still pulls to the left but it seems like the car riders smoother. Do you guys/gals know what I could check or replace to correct this problem.

It's a common Audi problem, from driving in the passing lane (possible road crowne issue?)

I don't think it's common for Audi, mine's fine. have a better alignment job done, save your tires.

{One of} Mine pulled really bad to the shoulder...

..if I put some other wheels on it, it's as straight as an arrow. You may have a bent rim...that's what's wrong with my car. To limit it I just put the bent rim on the back, I'll quit using the rims when my tires get worn down. The good news is that I have four sets of wheels for three Audi's....so I can drop one set as needed!!!

Other than changing the rim is there any other (easy) way to tell if the RIM is bent? The reason I'm asking is because I had a blow out the other day and I couldn't get the damn nuts off. Even with me standing on the Tire iron (and I weigh 280lbs!) Needless to say, I had to drive my car about 1/2 mile to a service station where they had to take the bolts off with a torque wrench.

Take it to a tire shop (i.e. Tires Plus)....

..they can put it on their machines and tell if it's bent!!!

surprised he said no correlation between pull and alignment,...

usually one leads to the other.
Are you sure it pulls to the side when you are on a perfectly flat road? keep inmind that most roads are crowned so that center is higher than curb.
My inclination is to go back to the alignment place and ask them to recheck.
