BTW: It is not the raw boost number that is valuable, but the combination of exhaust, intercooler efficiency, and timing. I know a lot of gomers who run high boost and the timing ends up so retarded that they lose a lot of horse.
My car is not exactly stock. The timing and fuel is taken care of with haltech and a straight thru 3' exhaust with 10'x32'x3.5' intercooler with race ported head will do its job. Stock turbo? looks are deceving its a k26 with a 15 degress clip on turbine wheel and a
T-04 60 trim compresor whella fully ported, I call it the special K good up to 600+ hp
I have a shop in Toronto and all we do is turbo upgrades and high horsepower conversions.
I deal with ARP but they dont have 5 cyl 20v kit even thou they are the same as the vw 16v they stil make me buy the VW kit anb the two missing bolts I have to buy separet witch is a hasle.
