Hi Everyone
I have a problem with my 1990 Audi 100. It's a dreaded auto transmission problem. I think it's low on auto fluid but I'm not totally for sure. Ok well yesterday went to school (20 min drive 70mph in 85+ deg) acted fine in drive and reverse. Drove home and was backing into driveway, and when I shift into reverse I usually let it roll a bit, but when I shifted yesterday it just sat there. I gave it a little gas and like a small jolt or thurst happened and then it rolled back normally. Put it in drive fine started off rolling no problem, put it back in reverse same thing nothing till I gave it some gas, and then the jolt. Any ideas from anyone? I was looking to check the auto tranny fluid last night but not sure where it is, not really a big car person! =) Found the Brake, anti-freeze, and what I believe is power steering fluids, but I don't know where the automatic transmission fluid is. Well any information would be appreciated thanks again, and hopefully i wont have to rebuild...
