Is this the Idle Air Control?

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/iacmaybe.jpg"></center><p>There was a recent post regarding the cleaning of the IAC in order to fix a sporadic idle on a 12v 90.
Can anyone tell me if this is the IAC? I'm refering to the small cylinder just to the left of the mass flow manifold and behind the airbox.

NOPE...it's harder to get at than that!!!..(more)

I have a write up on how to get at it and clean it. It's in word format. I can't remember where I got it from.
