irregular ideling at stops??

Can someone help me, I have a A4 1.8 standard 1995, the cars ideling dips up and down after slowing or stopping, it then idels normal untill I rev the motor again it dips and evens out again. This happens when the car is hot or cold but does get a bit worse if hot. It started when I connected a cone filter to the car, I removed and refit the standard filter but is still doing this.

The ECU or MAF may be out of spec now.

You'll have to either take it to the dealer or find someone with a VAG tool to help you out.

Do the simple thing first, check all hoses and also clean ur idle air control valve.

Probably just bumped a vacuum line loose!!
