Please help.
I have a problem with my '89 100 (10V); it runs
perfect, everything works and looks OK, but can't
pass smog. Has new plugs and wires, fuel and
air filters, catal. conv and oxyg. sensor. Some-
times HC and CO nice in the shop, but when I take
her to the smog station, it fails. Any ideas?

Temperature and a hint...
I would guess that the co/hc values vary dramatically depending on the engine temps. The timing advance can vary due to vacuum leaks, too. There is some goop at most auto stores/k-mart, etc. that claims that it will lower your numbers.
