Problem with the Radio reception?

Hello All,<p>I think all Germany cars radio reception are really poor. My A6 has the worst. My Boxster was the same. Even my lease Honda had better. IS there a service bulletin on this?

When you insist on not using an exterior antenna but put it in the glass, you always have bad reception. Don't ask me why the hell they do this, especially when there is a phone antenna that could serve dual usage.<br>

Are you saying that the antenna on the roof of my A6 Avant is for a phone and not connected to the radio? [I've always thought it looked like a cell phone antenna, with the little spiral wire under the plastic coating.]
