S6 Suspension Changes

Hi all:Can anyone offer advice (experienced or otherwise) as to how I might "improve" a 95 S6 suspension. I hit a turn the other day at a very reasonable speed, and felt the back end slip jus a bit too much. Wouldn't lowering the whole damned car work to cure such disobediant behaviour?Thanks in advance.Paul

Hey Paul

A friend of mine has a 93 S4...pretty close to a 95 S6 I am told. Anyway, email me and I will give you his email address. He has done a number of things to his S4, including suspension, turbo, chip, and brake mods. You might want to talk to Paul Rivera in SoCal...I think he and his relatives have multiple S4s. I found that the bilsteins and ABT springs i got from Hoppen work great, the 95 S6 has slightly different susp. geometry than my 93, however its basically the same. I kinda like my car loose so i keep my susp @ 2.2 deg neg camber in front and 0 int he back. For you to get the car to swing out on the stock suspension is kinda strange unless you were going really fast. Check your alignment before u do anything.

Paul,I had Eibach progressive rate spings on my 95 S6. They lowered the car 1and a 1/4 inches. They kept that luxury feel, but were up to getting sporty.Rick
