Timing belt

It's time to change the timing belt on my 1992 100cs. I know the water pump should be changed at the same time, what other items should be replaced / checked while having the timing belt replaced?
Any suggestions on where to purchase parts (I am planning on supplying my mechanic with the parts), and any specific instructions I need to make sure my mechanic is aware of.

Also change : thermostat, antifreeze, radiator fan thermoswitch, timing belt idler pulley, ..more...

the serpentine alternator/AC/power-steering belt, and the serpentine idler pulley/tensioner. If not already done, you need the upgrade kit for the revised serpentine belt (shorter belt, new tensioner pulley, one original idler pulley is not used anymore) Note, your mechanic needs two special Audi service tools to do this job :1) The crankshaft TDC holder/lock, 2) the camshaft alignment bar. The job can be done with out these special tools, but it is much easier, and more goofproof with them. Call Blaufergnugen for these tools (buy or rent).
