Tires for 90S
It time for me to replace the tires on my 94-90s.
I'm looking into an all season tire. I've heard a lot about the Dunlop SP5000 and the Pirelli P6000, and recommendations or experiences with any of these or others.
I live in the Toronto area and occassionaly will have to fight myway through snow....tks for your advice...

6000 old junk, re930 just old tech, sp5k ...
has much better rubber compounding for lower temperatures, a lot more silica for traction, and it is quieter. Two caveats, the re930 is better than the base model of the 5000. The shorter sidewall and higher-speed rated 5000's are a much better tire.

My Yokohama AVS S4-V handle rather well, but a bit mushy & loud at times, now they make a dB tire...
that looks a bit more aggressive, less noise, last longer. Yok's are the only ultra-high performance AND all-season tire that I could find and like. So far, so good. I've put a little more than 20k mi. of agressive driving on them and they're still handling great. I also went to the 205/60 from the 195/65 OEM tires to increase performance ("Plus-Zero" as it is called). They handle well at high speeds and cornering as well as in the snow of PA/NJ. These have been much better than Good"for-a"Year tires that I had on first.
