Todd W.-Question
I have the small wheelwelled 89 200q, looking to put 200 20v wheels on, definitely need to make some changes to the sheet metal. Had them on in my buddies shop last night, big mistake, current wheels offset resembles an army jeep...have H&R's on the way, need to make a decision here. Have you rolled out your quarters?
Thanks for all the great references so far.

Allen
I have 16x7 ET35 rims with 205/55-16 tires. It takes -0.8 degrees of camber to clear with the car lowered, even with the flared fenders. This causes more understeer, but if you lower the front you get too much camber up there too. The least I could get on both sides was -1.4 degrees. See my post below about camber plates.
I used a wooden baseball bat. Do not push down on the rear quarters next to the trunk when flaring the rear, they will collapse. Open the trunk and push down on the sill and the bumper as you roll the car back and forth. You may need to roll (not flare) the front if the H&R's are really low. Should not be a big deal. Only with four 200+ lb people with a sharp turn and hard braking all at the same time does my front tire rub one of the screws that holds the fender liner in in the front.
