Hi everyone just a quick heads up on removing component protection


you can do this yourself if upgrading mmi3g to mmi3g with dab
I just done it myself
I swapped the 24c256 amtel chip


PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP FIRST JUST INCASE IT DOESNT WORK FOR YOURSELF


worked for me I just need help on the airel location ill post in another thread for this tho

Quickly I went from 4g0 035 056 d to a 4g0 035 061 F

And contents were totally different but still works

Hi I'm new to the forum. where can I find jack. Just retrofitted the complete MMI 2g for a friend and cost quite a bit to have CP removed locally..

Hi I am looking to take cp on climate control for my q5 I was in stealership and what they does just lock out my car and than told me sorry but we put wrong vin....
( my car was flooded car and I have changed all wiring and modules from totaled car)
Now I am trying to finish my cooled seat retrofit and I am not able to take cp myself even with abritus)
Is there any chance to contact Jack and ask him?
Its Audi q5 2011 with 2.0 t

Yes got cloned abrites myself and will only do a bit of what its supposed to.

thanks for your fast respond...
We have original abritus... there is funkcion to do it but its need dump from microchip of gateway module orig. from car I took the climate control and there is the problem I do not have it ...
I will see I will ask him first what he can do about it....

He has not let me down so far. He can connect to the mother ship at audi.

Thanks to Storka for your input about him, he is good guy he knows what do it and it was fast and easy even stealership was not able to do it and he took it two cp off for me in 10 min for less than half of money they charge in dealership....
Now I do have my cooled seats working well and memory module on my seat also.

Yes he is the man with this stuff.
Same thing Audi dealer could not remove cp on cd player he did it in moments.
He must have spent a bit of time working how to do all this remotely.
