Weight Transfer thru a Corner (and more), ...
.
and it's importance, is discussed in "Load Transfer" by Bill Michell (of Mitchell Software).
The first three papers were written by Dave Weitzenhof, the 6-time SCCA Formula Continental National Champion. The "Shock Tuning" guide assumes you're using 3 or 4 way adjustable racing shocks. The shocks used by normal mortals do not have high speed adjustments (which are tuned for apex curb hopping), but everything else applies.
These were among the topics discussed at the 3/23/02 NEOhio Region SCCA Competition Clinic.

Thanks
I went last year when I lived in the area and attended Weitzenhof's session. This guy really knows his sh*t. BTW - I think he is a multiple FF national champion and switched to FC - either way, he is a talented driver and tuner.

and we were in that same room last year.
Unfortunately, I missed this year's clinic. Glad they've made this information available on their web site.

Duh
I think we even chatted last year. I think you are right about both classes - I can't recall when he switched, but I do seem to recall he was running FF when I working corners in the 70's. He has been at this a while.
