For the first four years, this car was garaged at home and work. It was my baby. Then I got married and moved around a bunch and never really needed to drive it. It’s been driven only 6k miles in the last five years -- mostly on errands. Living in cities with good public transportation will do that to you.
I’m selling it now because I had a kid and it’s clear that we won’t need two cars for a long time. My car is less practical and has to go. It drives better than the day I bought it. The upgrades are subtle, but they make a difference in the driving experience. The car has plenty of pep with the ECU upgrade and has had Mobil 1 0w-40 in it from its first oil change.
There are a few minor issues you should know about before coming to see the car.
- The back bumper has minor dings and cracks from being street parked in Cambridge (sigh).
- One of the front fog lights needs a bulb replacement.
- The driver’s side power window switch is loose -- the whole unit should probably be replaced. It’s an easy DIY job. I just haven’t had - time (blame the baby).
- The car is dirty on the outside. I could get it detailed, but I figure I’ll let the buyer choose how to get it cleaned. In my prior life I was extremely picky about how the car was washed. I hand washed it for six years. It’s never been through a machine.
