Outrageous!
Carlsen Audi wanted two hours of labor (at $140 per hour) plus tax, etc. to replace it. Total retail cost of the part 75 cents. I semi-politely refused. They also didn't see why I felt that this repair could be covered under warrantee.
I'll hand it to them, they were perfectly pleasant about the whole thing, even when I suggested that $300 to replace a part that's clearly visible and made out of pot metal was outrageous.
