Anyone wanna wire a Police Siren to the S4 car alarm? so when the alarm goes off...

it actually is an alarm instead of a little beep beep that Audi put into our cars

Friend of mine has one on his SRT4. I'd kill myself if my Compustar was that loud...

just arming/disarming is enough to make you jump. When that thing goes off over any little sound, makes you want to take a gun to your head. Over the top IMO. My neighbors would kill me too.

our's suck though man, the civics at my dads company have louder alarms....

I have airhorns wired to the factory alarm

And they are also wired to the factory horn with a cutoff switch on the dashboard so I can turn them on or off.

The trick is that the triggers for the horn and alarm need to be electrically isolated using a diode so that they don't both sound when one of them is triggered.

imho the audi's stock alarm is FAR from good

but sure is better than nothin.

if you're concerned about theft, pickup a better alarm / disklok / random cutoff switches / pulling fuel pump fuse

or a rayvelco
