I bought this unit in used condition, specifics unknown, for some analysis work related to the Audi C5 A6. This essentially consisted of plugging the unit into a C5 A6 and seeing it be ignored by the car in a way I've seen whenever I install an incompatible transmission control module. I have no reason to believe that this damaged the part.

I no longer need this part, so I'm selling it. I just have one of these. I don't know the condition and I can't put it through its paces since I don't have an A4 or S4. If you buy it, please install or test it shortly afterward. If it doesn't fit or work in your car, send it back and I'll refund the purchase price and shipping in both directions.

The unit comes without the plastic case and with no external wiring. Is has a label date code of 06.03.01 ...

I have looked at various websites and the best conclusion I can draw is that
- It fits the Audi A4 Quattro and Audi S4 Quattro, 1999-2002
- Asking $170 or best offer is a reasonable price
