02 A4 Supension prob. question
I have a 2002 a4 front trak non sport.I recently installed an aftermarket suspension, Bilstein sport with Eibach springs. Everything has been fine up until now. I am noticing when hitting a bump the right rear wheel / side of the car feels like it wants to swing out it just doesnt feel the same as the other wheels do, its hard to explain. On the highway when there is a slight turn going over a bump I get that feeling. The left rear feels solid when going over bumps etc. I did a bounce test on the car, the left side is harder/stiffer to push down, while the right side is more easier/softer to push down. I had my friend sit on each side with the same results. The ride height on each side is the same. I have about 6k on the suspension. What do you guys think? Does is it sound like a blown shock absorber? What can it be? Any help would be great

You did the installation? Did you set the heights by measuring? If so this is not accurate enough. Find yourself a race shop with a set of four scales. They will give you the corner weights with and without you in the car. They will probably offer to set the car up for you. Getting weighed cost me $15.00. For a Mechanic to adjust and set the car up, it would cost about $60.00 per hour. Worth the money.

Could be an alignment change due to the new suspension....
your right rear tire isn't getting the same traction, and around curves it has a higher tendency to slide. Try a true 4 wheel alignment and then see what it does.
Shocks & springs won't have a ride height adjustment, unless your bilsteins came grooved, but they should've been set in the same spots anyway. If corner ride height is all equal, and the car bounces evenly all the way around, I'd say the components are ok. Double-checking all the bolts to make sure they're tight is always a good idea, too. ;-)
