Default 02 Simulators?

Does anyone know of an 02 simulator that I coud possibly wire into my second 02 so I could get rid of my CEL from my test pipe. I have had the testpipe for about a year and I figure if I could get rid of the CEL I might as well try to. I put a 300ohm resistor on the signal wire and no dice. Either resisting too much voltage or too little. Does anyone know if I could continue to use resistors or are there some OBD2 simulators out there that would work on our cars

Default Have you tried leaving the O2 sensor plugged in, tied up in the engine compartment?

Depending what car you have and what programming, it may work....otherwise try random technologies? They can make you a cheater possibly if you send them an O2 sensor, I think they need the connector.

random technology's website

Default Some have done this

weld another small tube right to the side of the exhaust pipe with a hole between the 2. Then intall the 02 sensor inside the small tube from one side. This should allow heat to pass thru the small hole and to the 02 sensor, but it will keep most of the extra fuel from hitting it.

This should be easy to make. Small tube sealed on one end, a 02 fitting on the other end and a hole on one side down near the sealed end. Then just put a hole the same size as in the new small 02 tube and line them up and weld the new pipe to the test pipe so that are laying flat against each other.

Default I've got a little trick for you....

Take the second 02 sensor out and mount it in your engine bay. It will breathe fresh air and wony throw the cel. Then buy an old or broken o2 sensor, or even just something to plug up the hole and screw it in there.

Default That does not always work, I have had mine that way for 2 years

and still get DTC's for the 02 sensor even though it might not throw a CEL. Dont you know that the 02 sensor needs to see air, fuel and heat.
