Default 1.8t K03 question

Can the K03 push enough air (within reason) to max out the stock injectors? I drive a '98 1.8t.

Default Your K03 in that 98 is smaller then a dbw K03 and only has 240cc injectors

where the dbw has 270cc. This means your non dbw car has a lower limit of power and air flow.

Unless he puts a big turbo on it, in which case, the tables turn. =)

Default I dont know about that. I never lost to a big turbo non dbw

on the same track.

Default possibly....

but the K03 would be running on the ragged edge.

If you're running the K03 at reliable boost levels, then the stock injectors are fine.

Default Oh thats a fair race. K04 vs T3/T4.

I was talking when I had my 1.8 with the PES T28. Where were you then, oh thats right you were puffing black smoke and blowing motors =P

Default No my K04 cant make enough air flow. Maybe you should put your first motor back in and race me

you know the one that went KABOOM on the dyno.

unless you can make 280 whp on 18psi pump gas...no tricks no nothing.

I didnt have to chill my race gas either.

What I'm really wondering is why your "Big Bad 2.0" cant run better then mid 14's.
I remember you running 14.3's on a stock motor and a smaller turbo. Also your car weighs even less now.
