The A4 update,...
So Lowell has diagnosed the problem. Cylinder #1 just doesn't fire consistently and now there's not even a spark for it now. So the ignition system has issues. Connection issues & voltage needs to be reevaluated. And then the clutch that Juan said he'll have sent out soon. Then hopefully,... we'll get one run to beat Lucas before the track season ends over here! =)
OH,... going to save up for a new S4 avant and get out of the modding deal after I post a time Lowell & I are pretty happy with OR unless the car breaks. So I will inevitably be parting out with it. =( But on to something reliable and stable.

I too had problems with the cylinders missfiring but it was somthing that i wouldnt have thought..
I thought i had bad spark plugs...so i changed those and i was still misfiring bad and the check engine light was just flashing. I then thought it was the coils but the audi dealership said that since i had a ndbw that it wasnt common for the '99 coils to go bad. So i told him i was gettin some low volatge dtc and they told me to replace the -N221-(Output Stage power supply) which controls the coils because they tend to go out on the '99s and i sure enought did and that fixed the problem. I was getting the same problem but with cylinder 2...hope this helps.
Also i dont know if u remember me i bought the ford maf from you and the chip...i was just wondering what car the maf came out of again. I'm finally gettin time to work on the car and wanted to put it in. TIA
