Last night I installed a K&N air filter into my 99 A4 1.8TQ. I thought that the installation went smoothly, but there is a problem. I have never listened to my engine up close right after I turned the car on, so I don't know if the noise was happeneing beofre but I doubt it. On the top of the air box, the tube coming from the left goes into this grey plastic thing. About 2 min after I start the engine, it makes this sort of clicking sound. The clicking sound continues for a couple min and then stops and doesn't come back. Any ideas as to what the problem is?? I could greatly use some help.

All of our cars do that. Now when it does not ever make a sound then be worried.
