Anyone know how to decrease power assist steering on S4?
I remember there was a module that could be removed on my old A6 to drop the power assistance steering level,
does anyone know if the 2001 S4 can be adjusted??
I cannot take the over boosted feel of this car, (guess I just got spoiled w/ my NSX)
THERE HAS TO BE A WAY TO REDUCE THE ASSISTANCE..
Bleed some fluid?
add a resister to the circuit?
??
Please help, Thanks, Dennis

You can use a tougher steering dampener but...
But in reality it would decrease power assist rather just make it harder to turn the wheel. It would probabaly just put more pressure on the rack and may cause leakage over time.
Itll prolly be really tough to find something that would work to boot, maybe a rear trunk strut from the avant or golf.
I thought there was an adjustment on the rack but I could be wrong.
