For Audi2ptzero,... K04 upgrade on tip.
Just a little something I found. Take a look at the URL. The increase in 1/4 mile (never mind 0-60) was 15.7 to 15.5 sec. Stock was registered at 17.5. All on the same car,... I wasn't kidding about the K04 being not really worthwhile for the $$$ on a tip A4. My experiences confirm these numbers.

Something just does not look right.
How is his 1/8th 2.4 mph faster but then drops down to only 1.11 mph faster by the 1/4 mile. The car should be gaining speed over the k03. Also what chip was used for the K04, because K04 chips are 100% more advanced then they were back in 2000. So your #'s have nothing to do with K04 chips dated right now.

But the tip is not going to make the car make less power
going from a K03 to K04, power is power period. If the K04 makes 30-40 lbs of tq more it will do that on a tip too which will make it faster in the 1/4 mile over a K03, it does it on a manual it will do the same to a tip.

Only way a K03 saves gas is when you drive full throttle.
That is because it is using less fuel to make less power. If the K04 does not make anymore power then the K03 then they both use up the same exact amount of fuel.
BTW do you want to know what is making that K04 slow down low, it is the huge 3" exhaust.
