Tried searching for info but couldn't find none. Purchased an AWE track exhaust for 2018 Audi S5. Went to shop to get it installed and they're telling me it will make the check engine light come on because I'm having to remove the converters??? I tried contacting AWE but couldn't get ahold of anyone today so I'm curious if anyone has any info on this exhaust? Looking at their website they make a catalyst separate than the exhaust so I'm
curious what converters he may be talking about? If anyone has info. ?? I've attached the image he said is not installable.
Hi Josh, I have the Touring Edition, with Non-Resonated downpipes, installed on my 2015 S5 V6T and have no issues with check engine light warning. Where you bought the kit, are they really familiar with this set up ? I love AWE, I did a lot of investigation before investing on this exhaust. The guys are AWE were very helpful, I'd keep trying and also source out reputable service/install shops on the AWE site. I am attaching my guys from Toronto, if you want to give them a call also. Hope this helps....
