Basic Questions About Chipping
Hey all, I am fairly new to the world of tuning, so I was hoping you could provide some info regarding chipping an 06 A4:
1) Can you chip the car without any other mods being done?
2) is it a bad idea to chip a leased car?
3) is the process easy to reverse if the car has to be brought into Audi for servicing?
4) is it an expensive process? complicated process?
5) what brand is recommended?
6) what kinds of performance increases can be expected?

I'm in the market for a motor and tranny chip as well. I haven't seen any threads on the plusses and minuses between APR or GIAC. I'm leaning towards GIAC though. If anyone wants to share their thoughts, it would be appreciated.
A4 is an '05 3.0 Quattro with a TIP.
