Default Bilsteins

Thinking about adding a bit more firmness to my '01 A4 Avant 1.8t, sport. How much is gained over the facory sport suspension by just adding the Bilstein sport gas vs going with either coil overs or the Bilsteins and new springs. It's my daily driver and I'm just looking for a little more "tossibility" for weekend fun. Any advice would be welcome.

Default I went shocks and springs.

This improved handling dramatically but took the comfort out of daily driving. Another option for you are the Bilstein HD shocks. They're supposed to be in between the stockers and the Bilstein Sports.

A friend has the Koni adjustables, and even on full soft they're harder than my Bilsteins. His fwd A4 is much less comfy than my car.

Good luck,
Rich
