Or you can live with the hack, and resort to a boost controller.

Default Ironic, isn't it? The other camp used to bash andlessly about the non-dbw's use of a resistor b/c

of the maf (which is not needed any longer), but now it's ok to use a zener hackininnie.


Priceless. Maybe they won't be so quick to critisize in the future.

Default It is called a fix till I get the new boost sensor. It also lets me see how much boost the chip is

really making and then lets GIAC tune the chip down for the kit. But I guess you would rather have a kit that spikes to 1.6 bar and slams the throttle shut like the stage 3 most likely does.

You dont need a boost controller if you put the diode on.

Default Like the whine about big boost coming in @ 2800-3000 rpm. Once the PES kit went in all of a sudden

THAT was the PERFECT rpm.

Default My throttle never closes, even when there's boost spike.

Did you see that Comptech(yes Honda tuner) has a box that does exactly what you are looking for I believe and it is adjustable. Might check into it. I think it is... www.comptechusa.com
