Default diverter valve install help

Alright, I have a 97 a4 and I attempted to install a new hyperboost diverter valve. I removed the headlight and the air snorkel tube and while I could acces the valve, there was no way I could loosen the screws as they were facing the other direction away from the radiator. Is there anything I can remove that's relatively easy to put back on so I can free up more room? thx
