Default Do-able or not?

2.7TT mid-engine rear drive setup in a 1986 4000Q body?

This would be a completely track-only car. Roll cage, race buckets, no A/C, etc.

Default Definately do-able, may not be cost-effective though

The 2.7TT is a pig of a motor.

My suggestion: VR6

Default I'm thinking.......

I could modify the rear portion of the body somewhat, enough to bolt up the front subframe of the S4 in the rear of the 4kq. The rest would be simple cut & paste.

A stand alone EMS with k04/k16 hybrids, monster IC's could be used, each turbo could have it's own super huge ram air intake from the sides of the car, and giant exhaust as well. I'd definitely need to tub the rear wheel wells some, as this car could be close to 600 whp, and light as all hell........

Default if you can get the motor and car cheap and have good fab skills go for it!

all its takes is time and money!

if it were me I would need a welding class a nice welder, cutting torch, and other metal fab stuff first.

I wonder if you could retain quattro take a 2.7t and a 6 speed and just rotate it so the motor is behind the driver. then you would need to build custom drive shafts to mate the 6 speed with 4000 spindles. I dont think the measurements would really work tho.

rearwheel drive would be much less work.

Default I don't think it'd drift too well, being that all the weight would be

in the rear.....well, most of it. Maybe wheelies?

I've seen an NSX drift car, albeit a Silvia is much easier to do
