Default Converting gas autos to electric isn't very feasible IMO

Electric powered cars ARE feasible, but to really make it worthwhile it needs regenerative braking, no transmission, no driveshafts if possible. You'd have to change almost everything in the car.

The other problem is where are you getting your electric power? most likely its from coal or natural gas. so in the end you are still burning something.

As an alternative, consider converting the car over to natural gas. 99% of the car stays the same, the only thing that changes is the fuel system. Natural gas is about $1.50 per "gallon of gasoline equiv."
