Engine bay temps of TT?

I know any form of induction of external air into the engine bay will increase both drag, front axle lift and the Co efficient however, due to the turbo location a vent simply will not work - well not in isolation.
I do though have a concern of having something glowing like a light bulb and introducing a strong stream of cool crisp clean oxygen - instant oxidation?
I just want to flush some of the heat from the turbo and exhaust manifold which is aprimary source of heat.
What do the wise and honorable performance and tuning people think - will be intergrated flush with the bonet/hood of course.

what? you're not enjoying the heated passenger footwell? :D It's nice to see you taking car of
the heat concerns probably plaguing the 225 TT and maybe the turbo Bugs. The Golf, Jetta and 180 TT's seem to have a bit more circulation space to the turbo area.
I'm not a fan of a NACA duct on a hood which will probably alleviate the turbo hot spot of the TT, but I will have vent tubes going to the turbo in the near future. I guess if you don't mind a hole in the hood, and just looking out at the environment entering the bay, then go for it.
But I do think you will address the TT hot spot that not only causes much of the engine bay heat, but super heats the ECU area also.
And will cool down the passenger footwell
