Default Engine mounts needed...

Ok, had the car up on a hoist today changing my front rotors.
Now I need to stabalize the engine/transmission/diff some more, as on a firm to hard change, i still get diff and transmission hitting the floor.

I Already have the APR front engine mount.
But looking carefully, the Left engine mount could be made from solid rubber or the top metal loop reduced to restrict engine fron twisting so much.
As for the Reaf diff, well there seems to be a lot of room for the diff to twist up, so the center mount can either be a better fitting rubber mount or what every.
Any one know of any aftermarket replacement mounts..

Default "Innovator" was working on a transmission brace like the UUC S4 one. Never heard what came of it,

though. I know that he made at least one or two examples of it and had them test fitted. Anyone else know anything more about this?

the project has been turned over to AWE. I had it on my car for a short time and was very impressed.

Default How did it mount to the trans?

I know the S4 has a spot for the trans mount to bolt to, and the A4 has a spot, but it's 90 degrees off. Did it use an adapter plate?

Thanks

It mounted to the holes circled here:

which are very similar to the S4 holes, but are off by less than an inch forward. They are also a little closer together than the holes on the s4 tranny.

Default I don't remember seeing those holes on my 97 A4...

I'll have to take another look, but I'm pretty sure the holes on mine are turned 90 degrees (run fore-aft)
