epc ?

Default epc ?
my Audi a4 is showing a light on the dash that says epc. Whenever this happens it makes it very difficult to start the car sometimes not even starting at all .Is this gonna be an expensive fix...please help

i live in long beach ca . this problem causes the rpms to drop drastically causing the car to shut off

Not always the DBW system, but it sounds like it in this case.

that sounds like a dbw problem...do you have vag com?

Default It cuts off the throttle pedal so you cant give it gas.
If you are chipped you might want to see if the soldering is good.

Default this has happened to me twice in the last week.
once at 30mph engine braking, once at 75mph cruise control. i have a 2000 giac k04. seems like most people complaining are 2000s.

Default Just those with the high boost K04 setups.
One is the tq limiter issue.
