Head swap?
Hi just wanted to know if this can be done, swap haed from 10valve engine to 20valve head.
If so what kind of difficulties can I run into, and any other advice would be nice.
thanks

Um...it would be more of a headache to do that...
...The 20v head flows from right to left (as you look at the engine). The 10v head has the intake and exhaust on one side of the engine. You'd be better off just buying a 20v motor and swapping it. Unless ofcourse you can find all of the stuff you need for less than the cost of the motor. There'e a ton of stuff involved though.

(presuming this is for a CGT) easier/cheaper to do MC or 7A swap
snoogins is on the money for the head conversion.
instead:
do a 10v MC turbo conversion (lots of those around and people who've done it in 4k's and i think a few CGT's?). not a cross-flow head so all the stuff is on the right side of the engine compartment. then you can do the chip/wastegate spring for 200hp with no significant downsides. or,
do 7A (20v 90/CQ) NA conversion. might be more of a bargain, but harder to integrate. not a total power monster either, although definitely better than the 10v NA 5. more complicated in terms of accessories - 7A has a few funky things like the 'auxiliary radiator' and really fills up the engine compartment on a CQ, let alone a CGT that it's not designed for...
