Mintex Ctech or Hawk HPS???

EBC's also have amazing initial bite, but they run hot . . .
they will cause hot spots and/or warp average quality rotors due to their high kevlar content. On OEM front calipers, EBC's hot-spotted two sets of ATE Powerdiscs. On the OEM rear calipers, they have not hot spotted but have "hot-streaked" OEM rear rotors. I have not gotten them hot enough to cause any significant damage on the rears, but they likely would cause damage if I tracked the car.
You will definitely need to have high quality, heat-resistant, warp-resistant rotors to run the EBC's.

I think you're referring to Hawk HP+, not HPS...
...I've got both (HP+ up front -- the bite is insane, and so is the noise). The HPS's are newer in the rears and just seem like a good pad. I wore down my previous C-Tech's fairly quickly and they didn't handle the track real well. I'd probably have to go with HPS's over C-Tech's.
