Modify '02 A4 3.0Q
aside from the minor increases in performances obtained with a new chip for the 3.0, is the bolt on supercharger the way to go for increased performance? PES is working on one for the new a4's, but does anyone have any experience with these kits on older a4's? reactions? thoughts?
thanks

rob's site is cool. also browse the archives on this forum - somebody asks this question weekly.
lots of us with the PES setup, often referred to as 'SC' or 'G2' for searching purposes.
quick testimonial while I'm typing: it rocks, totally drivable huge improvement, and IMO, PES is a totally customer oriented operation with the highest standards in quality and service.

let me know if you redo the G2 notes. i too have some 'install notes not in the PES doc'.
i kept jotting misc. stuff down as i did the job. a few are A6 specific, most are general to 2.8. i've been meaning to send them to PES sometime too...

Might as well add my bit about the seals on the FPR
expanding with time. And that they are "replace each time" parts according to the manual. So if you switch FPR (like when you do the SW update from 3 to 4 bar and the old one's been on the shelf a while) you need to swap those gaskets.
Or it's a bitch to shove in the FPR.
And you can have one cut in the process. And your fuel rail pressure is then off, and your car stalls and runs too lean.
Like my case.
