An alternative way to duct the intake.

I did a little fab work w/ the stock airbox to come up with something similar. Did you have to relocate the horns as well...?
What I did was I went straight through with a 3" Y pipe that runs straight through to the wheel well as the Y bends off early up to the airbox. I figured if there was a way for the air to pass through it would produce less restriction than just right to the airbox. It also helps stop the rain from getting sucked up into my airbox and trashing my filter...It worked out well...
