can i use 10w-30 full syn in my 99 1.8t?? dealer says 20w-40 but ive never ever seen it.

The friggen oil thing again...YES.yes.YES. Oil is oil. Stick w/ a brand and change every 3000mi. Synthetic is better? Yes. Oh my GOD what about dealer reccomendations?? Doesn't mean crap.

Default i use 10-30 M1 in the summer...

i've had no oil problems in 195K.

I am using the 5w30 from Mobil 1 in my A4 and in my turbo eclipse for street use.

Default cars are not pushed that hard and just used for daily driving

and the oil temps are never that high during fwy drives.
